Map of the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley 1924-1925.

Again we return to the audio podcast format, reflecting upon our presentations at the London School of Architecture conference presentations of the week. The British Empire Exhibition: Wembley – The Crucible of Modernity’s Coloniality, held at the Victoria & Albert Museum London. The papers and presentations were simply incredible and we extend our thanks for being invited to participate. This was the first conference appearance of the Dystopia Unmasked Collective! So many thanks to our supporters. How does this fascinating research impact us today? We explore this in the podcast.

Khadijah Carberry’s film – Ocularity’s Myth: Decolonising Imperial Supply Chains at the 1924 British Empire Exhibition

Alex Carberry’s paper – Imperial Supply Chains and Identity: Policy, Progress, and Psychological Constructs at the 1924 British Empire Exhibition

If you would like to invite us for a screening of this short film and a discussion then please send us a message.
